Morgan Hicks
Lawyer/Partner
Morgan became a partner at Farrow Hicks McDade Law in January 2020. Prior to joining the partnership, Morgan practiced as an associate at the firm.
Morgan graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 2007 and has practiced in both Nova Scotia and Ontario. She focuses on family law, immigration law, wills and estates and civil litigation. Morgan takes pride in being able to assist her clients through what can be difficult times. She strives to provide excellent service with compassion and caring.

Imogen Phipps-Burton
Associate Lawyer
Imogen joined Farrow Hicks Law in 2023. She was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2022 after articling with the Halifax Regional Municipality. Imogen has experience with wills and estates, property law, family law, and human rights law, and has experience with both civil litigation and proceedings before a variety of administrative boards.

Abir Ayoub
Associate Lawyer
Abir holds a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from Dalhousie University. While in law school, she represented clients before the Youth Criminal Court and the Residential Tenancy Board through her involvement at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic and participated in justice access initiatives with Path Legal and the Elizabeth Fry Society.
Beyond her professional life, Abir enjoys discovering global art and new cuisines, hiking, exercising, and spending time with family and friends. She is also a committed community volunteer and has served on the board of the Lebanese Festival Halifax.

Mitchell McDade
Lawyer/Partner
Mitchell (Mitch) has been a partner at Farrow Hicks McDade Law since 2023. Prior to this, Mitch provided excellent service as an associate of the firm and practiced as legal counsel in municipal government.
Mitch graduated from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2018 and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2019. Prior to obtaining his J.D., he graduated from the University of Waterloo from the Honours Legal Studies & Business Co-op program.
Mitch practices in the areas of Nova Scotia real estate, corporate/commercial law, business law, wills & estates and contract law.

Tara Roach
Paralegal
Tara joined Farrow Hicks Law in April, 2021. Tara provides paralegal services in the areas of wills and estates, family law and corporate/ commercial law.
Tara’s warm disposition and approachable personality were perfect for her previous careers in sales and administration. Tara has degrees in criminology and psychology from St. Mary’s University which are a wonderful asset at Farrow Hicks McDade Law.
