Morgan Hicks
Lawyer/Partner
Morgan graduated with her LLB from Dalhousie Law School in 2007 and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2008. She began her legal career at a Halifax law firm, where she honed her skills in civil litigation, family law, wills and estates, and built a busy immigration and refugee law practice.
In 2012, a military posting moved Morgan and her family to Kingston, Ontario, where Morgan opened her own law practice, focusing on immigration law and wills and estates.
True Nova Scotians, Morgan and her family made their way back to the East coast in 2016, when Morgan joined Farrow Hicks Law. They are now proud to call the community of Upper Tantallon home. Since joining Farrow Hicks Law, Morgan has developed a busy practice in immigration law, family law, wills and estates and civil litigation.
In addition to her work, Morgan has also gained a great deal of experience through her volunteer work. She has volunteered with the Halifax Refugee Clinic, representing refugee claimants before the Immigration and Refugee Board, and while in Kingston, she sat on the board of a local business association and provided pro bono services to a local shelter for women and children and a local immigrant service organization. Morgan continues to provide pro bono services through the Legal Information Society and immigrant service organizations in Nova Scotia and Ontario.
